Eva Chalkiadaki is a MA student in Environment, Development and Cultural Change at the University of Oslo. She is currently finalising her master thesis in partnership with PRIO on the intersection of environmental peacebuildingĀ  and youth activism in Cyprus. She works as a research assistant on the INSPIRE and AidAccount projects along with coordinating PRIO's Middle East centre.

Eva holds a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent. During her studies she was on the board of the student section of Amnesty International and Editor and Communicator for Tvergastein Journal. Her academic interests are ethical peacebuilding, humanitarianism, refugee and asylum policy and border studies. In her MA thesis she engaged with fieldwork and interviewing methods, which expanded her interest in ethics and positionality in research.
