Sara Christophersen Wins Prize for her MA Thesis

Sara Christophersen has won the annual prize for best MA thesis in human geography, handed out at this year's digital winter seminar.

Her thesis is entitled 'Embodied possibilities: A study of dance as an everyday, artistic practice in Palestine'. Based on fieldwork in Palestine and a decade of professional engagements as a dancer and choreographer with the Palestinian dancing community, the thesis explores how hip-hop dancers in Palestine create movement in a situation of severe constraints and restrictions through their practice of dance. Congratulations Sara!
